Do you have a Science background and are you seeking a new opportunity? An opportunity has become available in a secondary school, working with students who need additional support for Science.

The school is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help with boosting students in Science in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be working with students as well as some 121 work and small group work away from class working with students with social emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs in a mainstream setting.

The school is in a nice part of Haringey, North London and is a short bus ride from the nearest station or they have on road parking within a 10 min walk if you drive.

The hours are 8.15am - 4.00pm(TBC) Monday to Friday and the pay on offer is �90 per day. This is a full-time role, term time only which starts after the Easter break until the end of the academic year (July 19th).

This role would be ideal for a Science graduate who is looking to start a career in education or someone with an absolute love of Science who would love to inspire students. Applicants with Science A'levels may be considered. Experience of working with students with SEMH special needs experience is also required. You should be calm, patient and have a positive, encouraging approach to your work.

This is a popular school, well-regarded locally and oversubscribed and they have a "good" ofsted. Feedback is that it is a nice place to work, with a great team throughout the school.

The school is seeking someone with great enthusiasm and dedication, who has excellent communication skills and who will be able to engage well with students and staff alike.
