Science Teacher Required

The Supply Register is currently working in partnership with The Two Counties Trust to find a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join Swanwick Hall School in September.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT to join a successful team of science teachers.

Swanwick Hall is looking for an inspirational Science Teacher. This role is perfect for an individual who is committed to students’ learning and ensuring they each achieve their full potential by consistently delivering engaging lessons. The successful candidate will join a team of effective, hardworking professionals, committed to providing an outstanding education for all students. There is also the potential for a TLR for the right candidate.

  • Swanwick Hall School    
  • Full-time role, September start
  • £30,000 - £46,253 per annum (TLR for the right candidate)

Responsibilities


  • Implementation of the Science curriculum
  • Provide exciting and varied lessons for pupils
  • Achievement of consistently outstanding teaching and learning in science
  • Achievement of outstanding academic attainment and progress in science
  • Develop strong partnerships and ensure regular and productive communication with parents.
  • Maintain regular and productive communication with pupils, parents, and colleagues

Requirements


  • Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications for the UK
  • Evidence of being, or having the potential to be, an outstanding teacher and leader of the subject
  • Up to date knowledge in the curriculum area
  • An understanding of what an outstanding education looks like in the classroom.
  • ECT’s welcome.
  • Must have the Right to work in the UK
  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to process one
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 years’ worth of professional references
