Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a vibrant school based in north Manchester. We are currently seeking a science Early Career Teacher to join this welcoming team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a science ECT to join this friendly team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply as systems are already in place to support applicants working through their induction terms. Clear progression pathways are also in place, including routes into middle management for those seeking career growth and progression.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering job stability and clear career progression pathways. The school is located in north Manchester, within proximity to Prestwich, Whitefield and Simister. The expected salary range for the role is from £150- £235 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply due to systems being in place to support through induction terms. More experienced teachers, seeking career growth and progression are also encouraged to apply.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
-        Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-        Confident in delivering science curriculum across KS3 and KS4
-        Strong behaviour management, particularly during practical activities
