School Support Officer

Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in the Winsford area who are currently recruiting for School Support Officers to start after the Easter holidays. Our client schools are seeking up to 4 support officers to work on an on-going, temporary basis. Thie is a full-time position working 8am until (phone number removed)pm, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch. Pay for this position will be on an hourly basis, paying �13.00 per hour.

Duties of the School Support Officer will include:

• Securing mag locked doors after lesson changeover
• Checking mobile phone pouches upon arrival
• Toilet access and control (monitor)
• Zonal Access control on the access controlled doors (monitor)

Our client school are seeing individuals with strong interpersonal skills to have conversations with pupils who are either on the stairwells who need ushering on their way or conversations with persistent pupils to are wanting to access areas of the school that are restricted during the school day.

The essentials:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children aged 11-16
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
• Full and complete career history
• Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Legal right to work in the UK
