School Nurse – Winchester

Nurse Seekers are extremely proud to be working alongside a highly respected Independent School in Winchester.

The School are currently to bolster their nursing team with the further addition a Registered Nurse. The School is seeking to appoint one Nurse on a full time-term time basis

Working as part of the larger Nursing team within the School’s medical centre the successful candidates will be responsible for providing day to day care to all pupils and staff.

The School is looking to hear from candidates with a passion for working with young people and who are keen to become part of a flourishing School community.

The main duties of the roles will include dealing with general sickness, sorting injuries/minor accidents, as well as wider pastoral duties. Therefore, Nurses from an A&E or Practice background will have transferable skills, as will those with experience of dealing with adolescent mental health.

In return for their contribution School Nurse will receive an excellent hourly rate for this term time only position, along with numerous other benefits. The School is happy for the successful Nurses to work either agency shifts or be employed elsewhere during the School Holidays
