rare opportunity for the brand new role of Group Transport Manager for a
prestigious group of schools in the East Midlands.RecruitME are recruiting exclusively as part of our long
standing partnership with this prestigious organisation. It’s a great opportunity for someone to grow their own
transport department across a group or world leading schools. The fleet consists of pupil transport and for school
operations (vehicles, drivers, compliance), including the ‘grey car’ fleet
comprising 10 minibuses and 30 vans, tractors, etc.The Group Transport Manager will set up, launch and run some
additional home-to-school and school-to-home bus services for pupils, ready for
1 September 2024.You will be responsible for leasing minibuses, recruitment,
compliance and manage drivers, negotiate vehicle maintenance contracts, procure
transport management software and produce suitable risk assessments.The Transport Manager will manage and maintain the minibus
fleet in full compliance with all vehicle and driver regulations and Health and
Safety law.£42k PRO RATA 35
