BHCC: External Job introductionPaid weeks per year: 47.99 (negotiable) inclusive of holiday entitlementThe governors of this welcoming and friendly small Catholic school are seeking to appoint a School Business Manager from September 2024.The successful candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, passionate about teaching and learning and fully committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of our school.The school business manager manages finance and purchasing, and takes lead school responsibility for premises, HR and ICT.They will have the following essential skills: -2 years’ experience in a finance background or a specific financial qualification (at least NVQ level 3) with school experience as desirableThe ability to use analytical, judgmental, creative and development skillsA team player, able to motivate and support others;Strong numerical and literacy skillsStrong ICT skills particularly with Office and management information systemsAbility to learn quicklyAbout the roleWe can offer:Training and support to further develop this roleAn effective and friendly management teamFriendly, energetic and supportive staff.Motivated and enthusiastic pupils.Supportive parents and governors.St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
