An experienced School Business Manager is sought by this well-established multi-academy trust with schools across southeast London and Kent. This is a key appointment working at one of the prime�secondary schools in south east London. You will be a key member of the senior leadership team and prime contact for all stakeholders across the Academy.



The School Business Manager will be responsible for the strategic management of all non-academic operations of the Academy, leading on all aspects of Finance, HR, School Administration, Facilities, Health & Safety and Catering.



Reporting to the Principal, the School Business Manager will assist with the creation of the budget and secure�value for money agreements.�The role will oversee�training and personal development for all non-education support staff,�to ensure HR best practice is adhered to.



The successful candidate will bring substantial experience of leading and managing people in multi-disciplinary teams, within a school environment. A practical knowledge of business planning and organisational management will be critical, together with effective financial and budget management. You will manage multiple�workstreams successfully and efficiently whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner and have full control at an operational level.



You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and�hold�a qualification in�School Business Management (ISBL), coupled�with proven experience of working within the secondary or FE/HE sectors.



This is a demanding role which requires an individual who is 'on point' with financial detail, who will successfully support the operational function, managing�upwards effectively. Competent use of MS Office and PS Financials is desirable.
