Although we are a global company with over 17,000 employees, we have a real family feel and want all our staff to feel valued and appreciated.We are large enough to meet your requirements, yet small enough to take the time to care.With a flexible working model in place, opportunities for career development including working overseas and a team-orientated environment, we hope that as a new employee at Egis you feel empowered and can recognise that we care about the legacy that we leave.We are looking for Scheme Project Managers or Consultants with experience in Rail Telecom's or Signalling Projects.Responsibilities:Knowledge of GSM-R (Global System for Mobile Communications – Railway) or FTN (Fixed Telecoms Network)Involvement in a Re-Signalling Project would be useful.Responsible for compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and championing the Health and Safety culture, resolving arising issues or escalating as appropriate and ensuring safe delivery in line with the corporate safety vision.Managing safety and performance of the project for NR, within own team and own role, challenge and feedback to others on their safety performance and behaviours.Initiating the project - check feasibility and work out budgets, teams and resourcesConsolidating and documenting the fundamental components of projects (scope, schedule, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities and issues, and quality requirements)Providing a detailed response to the Sponsors Instruction or Remit, clearly defining what resources tools and techniques will be utilised to deliver the defined outputs, typically stated in terms of scope, time, cost and quality.Design Management: Managing internal design resource and external suppliers, ensuring that design meets remit requirements and is delivered to programme.Managing the project’s budget, monitoring expenditure and costs remaining within acceptable tolerances in forecasting and authority.ProfileYOU MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK We have a number of locations available in the UK: Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and LondonJob locationEurope, United KingdomCity Scotland Minimum level of education required3-Diploma of Higher Education / Associate’s Degree / BTEC Higher National DiplomaMinimum level of experience required2-5 yearsGeneral informationOrganisationEgis is an international player active in the consulting, construction engineering and mobility service sectors.We design and operate intelligent infrastructure and buildings capable of responding to the climate emergency and helping to achieve more balanced, sustainable and resilient territorial development.With operations in 120 countries, Egis places the expertise of its 18,000 employees at the disposal of its clients and develops cutting-edge innovation accessible to all projects.Improving people's quality of life and supporting communities in their social and economic development, whilst drastically reducing carbon emissions and achieving vital 2050 net zero targets, that's our purpose.
