Scheduler / Planner

We are seeking a skilled Scheduler / Planner for a Temp to Perm position based in Oldham. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting production scheduling activities to meet sales demands and business objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.
Who This Job Would Suit:
This role is ideal for an experienced Scheduler / Planner within Manufacturing that has strong experience with ERP systems (EPICOR preferred). A keen eye for detail and strong communication and organisational skills are key.
Key Responsibilities:

• Release and schedule production jobs.
• Daily, Weekly and Monthly production schedule meetings.
• Maintain production schedule to meet sales demand.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and Health and Safety regulations.
• Coordinate production issues and communicate schedule changes.
• Update ERP database and monitor schedule risks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Scheduler / Planner.
• Strong ERP & MRP systems experience (EPICOR preferred)
• Experience within Manufacturing or Engineering
• Strong IT skills using MS packages.

Location: Oldham
6-month PAYE Contract (with strong potential to go Perm).
Pay Rate: �16.34 - �18.75 p/hr PAYE (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full Time - 40hrs, 07:45-16:30 Mon-Thurs, 07:45-12:45 Fri
