Scaffolding Package Manager

We are working with a busy Main Contractor who are looking for an experienced Scaffolding Package Manager to join their existing team.

The project currently has a large number of scaffold platforms, spread across a large new build Industrial / Manufacturing construction site, providing access for specialised contractors. The scaffold company maintains responsibility for managing safety inspections and workload of their respective staff, but its will be your responsibilities to manage the site Scaffolding operations and report to the Senior Project Manager. �

The assignment is based in South Tyneside and to start ASAP.

Essential Experience:

1. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the scaffolding industry


2. In-depth knowledge of scaffolding systems, techniques, and safety practices.


3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.


4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


5. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for managing the Scaffolding Contractor


• Coordinating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.


• You will Ensure the delivery programme is met in accordance with the preferred install


• Ensure a proactive approach to Health and Safety at all times


• Chairing progress meetings with the respective scaffold contractors,


• Coordinate multiple scaffold requests, from engineering and client teams.

Qualifications:

1. SMSTS


2. 3-day 1st Aid qualification


3. CSCS Card


4. Temporary Works Qualification


5. Certification Scaffolding Inspection / Safety (e.g., CISRS, CITB)
