Overview
You have the chance to join a growing Digital IT Services Provider, based in the UK, who specialise in workplace, network, and cloud transformation. As part of the Operations Team, the SC Cleared Project Manager will focus on key project deployments across public sector digital transformation, leading, communicating, organising and problem solving throughout project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities for the SC Cleared Project Manager:
Adhere to established procedures outlined by recognised project management bodies such as APM, PRINCE2, or PMI.
Contribute to enhancing project management procedures, templates, and benchmarks.
Initiate projects, assess feasibility, oversee budgets, teams, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results.
Inspire and guide both internal and external project teams to achieve objectives.
Conduct comprehensive planning aligned with project scope and client requirements.
Define roles, establish objectives, and create schedules for tasks.
Lead the planning and execution of solution implementations and rollouts.
Oversee project management activities, ensuring team alignment and budget adherence.
Monitor project actions, decisions, risks, and assumptions.
Implement monitoring and control measures to track project progress.
Identify and address risks to maintain quality and meet deadlines.
Execute necessary changes using company change management process.
Generate regular project status reports for stakeholders as per agreed intervals.
Facilitate project closure, evaluating successes and challenges to inform future endeavours.
Key Requirements for the SC Cleared Project Manager:
Active Security Clearance (SC Clearance) – Required.
Ideally experienced in managing Business & Network Transformation & Cloud adoption Projects – (Azure, M365, Fortinet familiarity advantageous).
Comprehensive experience and skills to lead and direct throughout the full project lifecycle.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent financial budgeting & control skills.
Risk management and project quality management.
Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of resources to meet deadlines.
Strong problem solving and decision managing abilities.
Customer/stakeholder relationship management.
