SC Cleared Management Accountant

IntroductionThis is a hybrid role with 3 days per week required onsite and the rest of the work can be done from home.My client is a large aerospace manufacturing consultancy who have a strong reputation in the defence and aerospace industry.They are looking for an SC Cleared Senior Accountant to coordinate financial accounting, planning and controlling for different business areas.Key responsibilitiesCoordinate and prepare monthly accounts in a timely and accurate manner.Prepare financial accounting data to be analysed.Ensuring accurate operation and improvement of internal controls throughout all processesCalculation and posting on key journals.Completion and consistent monitoring of all Balance Sheet accounts.Coordination and reporting of financial accounts for assigned business areas.Ensure that all accounts are prepared in accordance with accounting standardsSkills & experienceProfessionally Qualified Accountant (ACMA / ACCA /CIMA/ ACA etc.) or part qualified but studying towards qualification.Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar environment.SAP experience is essential in particular FI/CO modules.Microsoft Office proficiency - in particular Excel.CAFM experience.Our client is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.Please note that the client has determined that the off-payroll working rules will apply to this assignment and therefore this contract will be run through an Umbrella Company.
