SC Cleared, Data Center Network Engineer (Juniper) Contract 6 mths Midlands

OUTSIDE IR35 Contract Data Center Network Engineer (Juniper) SC clearance required – 6 months – rate TBA.
Our client a well respected Service Management consultancy are hiring for an experienced individual with the skills detailed below. We realise that this is a very full list and would be happy to discuss the role should you meet most of the requirements i.e. SC clearance and demonstrable Juniper expereince .
Job Summary
•To work within a customer facing project team to deliver and support network solutions for business transition, transformation and business as usual activities
•To create the technical requirements documentation based on business process requirements
•To support the product/application selection and architecture development processes
•To manage 3rd party suppliers including technical liaison, technical compliance, inter-dependencies between suppliers, testing, scoping of support contracts and transfer into operations
•End to end responsibility for the specification, design, configuration and deployment of the solutions, including all documentation, statements of work, handbooks, user guides, training and successful transfer into operations.
•To ensure that the solutions include the requirements of other in scope deliverable areas and that the solutions are fully integrated with the other deliverable areas
•To develop a strong understanding of the application portfolio used within the operational environment
•To provide out of hours support as required for application faults
Key Objectives
Deliverables include:
•Develop technical specifications, network architecture documentation and other relevant documentation
•Undertake network and application configuration Primarily Junos including Junos Space.
•Managing the devices, system and integration testing
•Updating asset information and configuration data
•Providing support on network related issues
•Liaise with vendors where necessary and apply or oversee relevant updates and patches.
•Monitor performance and efficiency of the network and instigate modifications and improvements where necessary
•Provide advice to end users on how to operate the network
•Resolve technical queries
•Provide network training as required
•Test new product releases and upgrades
•Create and maintain the system documentation
•Maintain high levels of security and ensure strong firewall management
Essential Skills
•Juniper – demonstrable experience
• knowledge of Junos Space Network and Security Director
•Knowledge of f5 networks
•Nokia Certified Accreditations (NRS I or NRS II welcome)
