SAP Systems Accountant

Hays Senior Finance are working with a rapidly growing business who are about to start implementing SAP across their various entities in the UK and abroad. As part of this process they are looking to recruit an experienced Systems Accountant who has both experience and interest in SAP projects. This is a permanent role as there will always be ongoing upgrades, systems maintenance and process improvement work across their various businesses. This role will work closely with Finance, IT and other business functions to develop robust financial processes with a particular emphasis on developing, implementing and maintaining a strong control framework within a multinational environment which meets both external and internal functional and reporting requirements.
Key functions of the role include process documentation following Group Finance policies and the ERP technical requirements, effectively reporting and communicating these to Group Finance and other stakeholders, transforming the legacy data into import packages, testing the solutions and providing guidance on potential enhancements. This role will play a critical integration function between the Technology and the Finance teams and guaranteeing the implementation consistency along the different project phases.Strong experience in ERP Implementations is essential as is experience with Tier 2 SaaS products.
