A proud equal opportunity employer, we passionately embrace team member diversity and provide a positive and inclusive working environment for all.About the roleThis is a full time position based in Nottingham, and is an opportunity to join the SAP Technical team of the SAP Centre of Expertise where the latest SAP technologies and ways of working are being leveraged, reporting into the SAP Extensibility Team Lead. You will be guiding and leading partner resources, delivering integration design and build for the SAP landscape. SAP technical knowledge and skills are required in the BTP integration technologies, as well as the traditional SAP on-premise solutions of Process Orchestration and Data Services.You will be responsible for:Designing integration solutions, utilising the most appropriate SAP integration technology, to achieve the requirements given.Building integration solutions, utilising the most appropriate SAP integration technology, to achieve the requirements given.Leading and governing partners to ensure they deliver SAP Integrations to our standards in a timely and consistent mannerEnsuring the SAP Integration standards are kept in line with security policies and industry standardsEnsuring integrations are designed and built to the security standardsEnsuring SAP Integration patterns are appropriately documented and circulatedBuilding effective relationships with the Boots Integration Centre of Expertise to ensure alignment in approaches and a collaborationWhat you'll need to haveSAP Integration SkillsProject Implementation experience in SAP Integration tools (SAP Integration Suite on BTP / Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) / SAP Process Orchestration / SAP Process Integration)Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and related Integration capabilities (Integration Suite, Event Mesh, Advanced Event Mesh, API Business Hub)Technical and architectural expertise in integrating SAP products with 3rd party applications (Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)) using different technologies ALE-IDocs, XML, HTTP, JDBC, File, SOAPAbility to write codes via APIs and should poses skills in configuration of Adapters (IDOC, JDBC, File (FCC), SOAP, and HTTP Adapter).Core Process Integration skillsExperience in integration of SAP and non-SAP systems in A2A and B2B scenarios using XI/PIInterfacing scenarios in a System Oriented Architecture (SOA) XML to IDoc/BAPI, File to IDoc/BAPI, HTTP to IDoc/BAPI, ABAP Proxy to JDBC, Web servicesSolid understanding of Integration principles and patterns, technologies, and protocols (REST, ODATA, SOAP, XML, JSON, Message queues, Identity management, SAML, OAUTH)Knowledge of security features in integration (SFTP/HTTPS adapters, data encryption)ExperienceGood communication skillsBe able to coordinate and resolve queries concerning SAP IntegrationTeam member experience with good interpersonal skills and team player capabilityMust be able to complete task as per timelines and requirements3 or more years SAP Integration experienceIt would be great if you also haveExperience of working with multi-cultural team working across different time zonesOur benefitsRetirement Savings PlanDiscretionary annual bonusGenerous employee discountsEnhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a childFlexible benefits scheme including holiday buying, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and more.Access to free, 24/7 counselling and support through TELUS Health, our Employee Assistance Programme.We have a great range of benefits in addition to the above that offer flexibility to suit you - find out more at boots.jobs/rewards.
