Job Description
Methods are currently looking for a SAP FICO Business Analyst for a new 12 month contract.
The FICO Business Analyst will be accountable and responsible for understanding the requirements, business needs, and operational context from stakeholders.
They will be responsible for working with one or more Product Owners, development teams, Solution Architects, Data Architects, Business Architects and other key roles in eliciting, analysing, prioritising these business needs into concise business requirements.

Deliverables:
Create interfaces with SAP and/or another service required to handle and record accounting records
including the ingestion, transformation and transferring/exporting of data (where applicable)
Interface with Identification and Rating (I&R) to handle reference data
Create a facility for a back-office system to reconcile transactions on a daily basis
Mapping out the AS-IS processes, eg describing financial accounting systems, how data is currently getting data into SAP, ensuring that the right dataset is being captured and understanding the current SAP incremental updates with the area.
Designing and implementing payment solutions, preferably with experience in integrating them with SAP systems - this shall include familiarity with SAP modules related to financial management and integration methods (eg, SAP PI/PO, SAP HANA)
Demonstrable experience in the development of a full Enterprise Resource Planning System eg SAP and working with Payment Provider Systems
Create a facility for a back-office system to reconcile transactions on a daily basis
Interface with Identification and Rating (I&R) to handle reference data
The Business Analyst will:
Work alongside a Senior Product Owner and other key technical roles (where required), to translate business requirements into technical requirements and units of work (user stories) that are implementable by Scrum Agile development teams for their assigned area of the product.
Assist the Senior Product Owner with the development and maintenance of the product backlog and evaluation of the requirements, ensuring that additional analysis is provided to enable the Product Owner to shape and define the solution and create well-sized stories with sufficient information to enable the development of high-quality software
Act as an effective conduit between the Product Areas and the business stakeholders should any technical issues, requirements clarification or ambiguities arise, to help ensure that along with the Senior Product Owner, backlogs are constantly well maintained, prioritised, and give full coverage of the requirements and further ensure that expectations of sponsors and stakeholders are met in full.
Perform analysis and modelling (where required) to assist the Product Owner in:
Understanding and defining dependencies and integration points between the different Product areas
Understanding business rules, constraints and technical processes
