Role Title: Data Analyst

Duration: Initial 6 Months

Location: Hybrid / Warwick - 2 days per week on-site

Salary: £36,400 per annum + additional benefits (pension scheme, medical cover, discounts)

Job Purpose:

The core objective for this role is to drive improvements in the control and management of master data with a specific focus on the Core SAP systems.

You will help shape the way in which master data is managed as new tools are embedded across the company to drive improvements in productivity, quality, and control.

Key Accountabilities:

Support Groupwide master data and data governance initiatives
Document the existing and to-be process for the creation and maintenance of master data in SAP/new processes
Engagement with our customers to ensure we offer the best service possible
Collaborate with the businesses to ensure master data processes are aligned to operational processes
Act as the subject matter expert for Projects, Customer, Vendor, Business Partner, Finance Master Data
Be instrumental in onboarding areas into the central Data Management Team
Responsible for helping define best practice for master data creation and maintenance
Review, amend and create data artefacts e.g., Business Glossary, Data Dictionary
Working with the business on analysing the data quality, supporting the cleansing of data and reducing the risk associated with incomplete, inaccurate and inconsistent data
Ensure governance processes are in place to align data and drive quality, attend the data Governance meetings and ensure IA are completed and reviewed

Knowledge & Experience We Will Be Looking For…

S/4HANA SAP system, specifically related to master data creation and maintenance.
Highly computer literate - excel, powerpoint, ability to analyst data.
Strong character - be able to reject/challenge requests which are not in line with requirements.
Strong Team Player - works closely with other team members plus the wider group to ensure master data is accurate
Influencing skills - able to influence the business to follow processes and see the value in data stored properly.
Attention to detail - ability to concentrate on a process and follow it to the letter ensuring master data is changed in line with policy and procedure
