Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client who are known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for SAP Assistant to join their expanding team on a contract basis. The role will be based in Solihull.

Job Description

As SAP Assistant your main responsibilities are:

  • Assist in the creation and submission of Purchase Requisitions (PR) in the SAP system based on input from requisitioners.
  • Generate Purchase Orders (PO) accurately within SAP, ensuring alignment with approved PRs and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams and stakeholders to gather necessary information for PRs and POs, including specifications, pricing, and delivery details.
  • Monitor PR and PO workflows within SAP, follow up on approvals, and escalate any issues or delays as necessary to ensure timely processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of PRs, POs, and related documentation within SAP, ensuring data integrity and completeness.

Qualifications / Skills needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience working with SAP ERP system, particularly in the procurement module.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, including PR to PO conversion, vendor management, and contract compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse issues and propose solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
