We have an exciting opportunity to join the Scobie & Junor Group: a multi-site, food industry supplier. The company covers several categories: food seasoning, meat netting, food production machinery, flexible plastics, casings, and online distribution. Due to growth, we are looking for a driven and ambitious Sales Team Manager to help us achieve double digit growth in the next 12 months.Reporting to the Sales Director the Sales Team Manager, you will manage the sales function to enable the Sales Team to achieve their sales target and ensure growth and strategic value is achieved.The roleOwnership of the end-to-end sales management processMonitor and implement sales KPIs and help the Sales Team where required to achieve these goals.Communicating with other departments to resolve Sales Team challenges.General sales team support, coaching and mentoring.Implement and conduct structured one-to-ones and progress reviews.Monitoring the CRM system sales updates and maintenance.Ensuring price increases are actioned.Reviewing and maintaining commercial agreements.Support the Sales DirectorDeveloping and implementing strategy.Report KPIs and other measurements as required.Manage forecast tool, ensuring that targets are being met.Research and implement training plans for sales team needs.Identify process improvements and work with the IT team on implementation.Manage sales team on field visits to ensure company standards are met and improved.The successful applicant will have:Excellent time management, organisational and literacy skill.Experience of relevant products is advantageous but not critical.The role includes UK and Ireland travel with the sales team.
