Brook Street is thrilled to represent a leading national Financial Services company in their search for a dynamic Sales Team Leader!

As a Sales Team Leader within the financial sector, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve their targets and drive revenue growth. Your role will involve developing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring that the team delivers exceptional service to clients. You will act as a key player in fostering a high-performance culture, providing guidance and support to your team, and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

Job Details:

Type: Full-time, Permanent role
Location: Peterborough
Salary: Basic £35k with OTE £41K

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets.

Foster a positive team environment, promoting collaboration and accountability.

Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and identifying development opportunities.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve business goals.

Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy.

Collaborate with senior management to align sales objectives with the company's strategic goals

Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to track progress against targets.

Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

Use data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

Ensure the team delivers high-quality service and maintains strong relationships with clients.

Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling financial products and services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Sales Team Leader experience in Financial Services
Familiarity with Contact Centre Workforce Management (WFM) and telephony technologies including auto dialer software
Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional sales and setting high standards.
Excellent communication skills, with a knack for negotiation and facilitating change.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Effective time management and workload prioritisation skills.
