  • Contract type: Temporary
  • Hours: Full time, 37 per week
  • Pay Rate: �13 - �14 per hour.

Our client is looking for a Sales Representative to spread the word and identify business opportunities across London areas.

Role Overview

As a Sales Representative, you will be a vital member of our sales team, focusing on expanding our presence in the foodservice industry. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Researching the foodservice industry to identify potential customers.
  • Strategically planning and approaching potential customers.
  • Executing bold strategies to acquire new customers.
  • Spending approximately 50% of your time meeting with chefs and owners of London's top restaurants, with the remainder of your time at your desk, sometimes at our base in Hampshire.
  • Representing the brand and spreading the joy of our product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the brand in a wide variety of contexts.
  • Grow sales by identifying potential opportunities in London and surrounding areas.
  • Build relationships with current customers within our delivery area.
  • Conduct tastings with potential customers to sample our products and share the story.

Health & Safety

  • Comply with Health and Safety legislation and company requirements relevant to your role.
  • Report any Health and Safety issues.

General Responsibilities

  • Align with the company's procedures and policies.
  • Uphold company values and characteristics.
  • Encourage responsibility towards the community and environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and share good practices.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Collaborate across all departments to build strong working relationships.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities as agreed with the Sales Director.

Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, hard-working, and food-loving individual who can demonstrate the following:

  • Energy, enthusiasm, and creativity
  • Discipline and rigour
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • A desire for continuous personal development
  • A clean driving licence
