The successful candidate will work with the wider management team under the direction of the Directors.Primary Role:To drive product sales across a busy rental department, focusing on developing relationships with new and existing clients. Project and production management for live events throughout the North East and beyond.This is a challenging full time role suitable for an established industry professional to join a fast growing company in the events industry. The role will be equally split between business development and project management. The role would be suited to an individual who has a proven track record in the event production industry and a broad skillset. Live event or touring experience is essential, and the role would suit an individual with previous full time or freelance experience in a production management, account/job handling or sales role at a production company. The individual will be managing sales, business development and overseeing projects up to Arena level and should have a good knowledge of production management.DutiesNew business development and sales to a wide variety of clients and opportunities.Identify key target markets, develop sales strategy, and execute.Ensure existing enquiries are dealt with professionally and efficiently.Project Management for all aspects of the companies day to day business.Liaise with clients to act as point of contact from quotation to specification and supply of equipment or services.Maximise business from existing customers.Onsite event, technical and production management.Booking and organising staff, sub-contractors and suppliers for events.Deliveries to site when required.Work with the warehouse team to ensure efficient stock control using Current RMS rental management software.Comply with the company’s paperwork process to generate and file hire agreements and Prep Lists.Comply with company health and safety procedures.Assist in all aspects of the day-to-day company operations as required.Person SpecificationExcellent sales skills.Excellent attention to detail.Excellent communication and organisation skills.Ability to work as part of a team and solo under own initiative.Good time keeping.Good team player.Ability to problem solve, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.High self-motivation, flexibility, and a can-do attitude.Physical ability to undertake manual labour required for the position.Previous experience in Project and Production Management is essential.Technical knowledge of Sound, Lighting and Visual systems and their applications is essential.Full UK Driving License is required.Forklift Truck License, IPAF, NRC or other industry qualifications an advantage but not essential.A full programme of additional training can be provided to the right individual.If you think you have what it takes and would be interested in being part of our team then please email #####
