The Global Sales Operations and Enablement team has a goal to drive, measure and increase efficiency in the execution of the Oxford Nanopore Technologies sales process, enabling us to meet and exceed global commercial targets.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Operations Analyst to join our team in Oxford on a hybrid basis! As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting all sales operations activities, including regional sales forecasting, and keeping up to date with market intelligence impacting local commercial goals. The role requires collaboration with the data, finance, sales, marketing, and customer solution teams.
Key responsibilities
Performing regional sales data analysis and KPI reporting
Stakeholder presentations of recommended actions from the data analysis
Interpreting and presenting data results
Developing detailed sales forecasting and planning
Analysing and reporting on customer performance and customer experience
Generating agreed regionally specific sales reports
Evaluating the performance of sales professionals
Analysing market trends
Making recommendations on sales goals and territory design
Investigating technological solutions to improve efficiency
Reporting the impact of local sales team tasks on reaching commercial goals
What we’re looking for…
Degree in Life Science, Maths or higher education qualification with a successful record of accomplishment in business analyst positions
Minimum 3 years sales operations experience
Setting up reporting processes to show impact
Prior experience of teamwork
Working in collaboration with sales teams and other stakeholders in exceeding commercial goals
Ability to collate, prioritise and feedback on progress of a variety of projects
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Clarity on requirements for reporting
Computer, problem solving and analytical skills
Able to coach and develop others
Knowledge of reporting and analytics using analytic platforms
Knowledge of new developments in the space and ability to create business cases
Effective communication skills
You should have a positive can-do attitude, phenomenal communication skills, the ability to prioritise and collate information and be self-motivated!
