We have a global presence selling our products in over 50 countries with manufacturing facilities in nine countries and offices across North America, Europe and Asia.Job DescriptionThis sales function requires a high-performing Sales Manager to meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. Responsibilities include maximizing our sales potential, creating strategic 5-Yr sales plans and delivering those to plans to senior management.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing opportunities for Smiths Interconnect FOCOM productsDesigning and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure a strong presence within the Space, Defence & Aerospace marketsSupporting the development of capability & product strategies by working with Engineering and Product Management stakeholdersAchieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing stakeholders within the selling processCreate, present and execute a credible Sales ForecastBuild and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and developing partnering opportunitiesPresent sales, revenue and expenses reports to the management teamIdentify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition statusThe IndividualPreferred SkillsSuccessful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets3+ years of sales experience within a Tech environment would be beneficialCommitted to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferencesDemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisationProven ability to drive the sales process from conception to completionStrong business sense and industry expertise would be beneficialUnderstanding of Space, Defence and/or Aerospace procurementUnderstanding of RF products and their application preferredDiversity & InclusionWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
