Their portfolio boasts a range of specialty materials crucial across industries such as food, animal feed, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. From Propyl Gallate to Tannic acid and Gallic acid, their products are at the forefront of innovation. We're on the lookout for a Sales Manager with a proven track record in business development to lead the new specialty raw materials business unit.
This role promises an exhilarating blend of challenges, set within a dynamic work environment that fosters entrepreneurial spirit. You'll take charge of a new business unit, steering its growth and contributing to the ongoing success.
Your responsibilities will include:
Spearheading business development efforts to propel the growth of the specialty raw materials business unit.
Building and nurturing a high-performing sales team, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, forging strong relationships with potential clients, and securing new accounts.
Cultivating strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to seize emerging opportunities.
Monitoring sales performance, analysing key metrics, and preparing insightful reports.
Presenting product and company offerings to potential and existing customers.
Overseeing the financial performance of the business unit, optimising profitability in line with company objectives.
Continuously enhancing sales processes and methodologies to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
To thrive in this role, you'll be a proven Sales Manager with experience in the chemical manufacturing or distribution sectors, ideally within our target industries. Technical expertise in these sectors is advantageous but not essential. You'll be passionate about driving growth, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities. Excellent technical and commercial acumen, coupled with strong relationship-building skills, are essential.
In return, our client is offering a salary of c£40,000 - £60,000pa, benefits, bonus, and profit share opportunities, negotiable depending on experience. This role offers a hybrid/remote work arrangement, with travel as required.
