Salary:  £65,000 - £70,000 OTE per annum

Hours of work:  Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:30

Role Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Sales Manager to champion our business growth. This role is pivotal in driving our HGV recruitment services forward, directly selling to prospective clients and generating fresh leads. The ideal candidate will embody a spirit of tenacity, combined with utmost professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Direct Sales: Actively identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities through direct sales techniques.
  2. Lead Generation: Develop and implement innovative strategies to generate leads and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  3. Relationship Management: Foster and maintain relationships with current and potential clients, ensuring the highest level of service and engagement.
  4. Market Analysis: Keep abreast of the latest market trends, understanding the needs and pain points of potential clients within the transport and logistics sector.
  5. Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets, driving the financial growth of the company.
  6. Feedback: Liaise with our recruitment and operations teams to ensure our services align with client needs, providing feedback to enhance our offerings.
  7. Presentations & Pitches: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of our recruitment services.
  8. Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, including leads, conversions, and forecasts.

Qualifications & Experience:


  1. Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the recruitment or transport sector.
  2. Strong understanding of the UK transport and logistics industry.
  3. Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Demonstrable ability to drive sales and generate leads.
