Job Title: Sales Manager (Logistics)
Location: Burton upon Trent
Salary: �35,000 - �40,000 + Commission & Car�
Hours: Monday-Friday (08:00-17:00)�

Job summary:As a dynamic and results-driven
Sales Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and fostering strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
Major duties & responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Commercial Director to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics industry, including but not limited to warehousing, transportation, and distribution services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Stay ahead of market developments, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to management for informed decision-making
- Work as part of the sales team to achieve targets and exceed expectations, provide guidance, coaching and support where needed
- Negotiate favourable terms and agreements with clients, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives#Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of customer onboarding, sales initiatives and projects
Profile:- Experience and knowledge of the logistics industry is essential
- Ability to commute and visit customers/other sites where needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are key to this role
- Good presentational and customer service skills with alogical approach to problem solving
- Strong excel and computer skills
Technical competencies:- Previous sales experience in logistics is essential
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel & Word
- Adaptable IT skills
- Good attention to detail is essential
