Sales Manager/DOS Resort style hotel, multi outlet with large C&E space, outstanding mix of accommodation, expansion plans for 2025. £40,000 £45,000 per annum, some hybrid working.
To drive all sales activity and processes for the hotel to maximise revenue and profit strategies across the business and ensuring all budget revenue and commercial targets are met.
Responsible for the over-all resort sales activity, building new business, creating strong client and agent relationships that grow our market share. Build our reputation across all sectors from corporate, MICE, agents, through to leisure partnerships. Further ensuring that all sales processes from enquiry through to show-round and conversion so that all sales KPIs are achieved.
Co- Owner of the hotel budget sales and profitability delivery with Hotel Revenue Manager and Hotel Marketing Manager, working cohesively to exceed commercial targets.
Day to day management and leadership of all sales functions within the business.
Ensures an effective sales cycle from enquiry to show-round to contracting. Targeting conversion from each touch point.
Supports the Revenue manager to build annual revenue budgets, alongside the full year strategic sales business plan that will delivery strong revenue and profit growths year on year performance
To be fully engaged as a key stakeholder at the weekly commercial meeting, delivering sales updates and results of Sales team KPI targets.
Weekly reporting on appointments, conversions and contract statuses.
To implement a target-based sales action plan that will clearly define planned activities to drive revenue in all core segments.
Sets KPI targets with sales team and ensures achievement; appointments, show-rounds, conversion, average booking spends etc.
To be responsible for driving inbound sales revenue for the hotel across all segments with a key focus around corporate, MICE, Weddings, Events and luxury leisure markets
Ensures we build and maintain strong partnerships with the target booking agent network; including account development planning , regular presentations and hosting FAM trips.
New business development through research, competitor analysis, market knowledge and contacts across all sectors that will deliver a new pipeline of revenue and customers.
Existing account management, forging strong working partnerships with existing clients; Manage client-booker-decision maker relationships for the hotel; account management to develop further market share of each account value.
Operate a clear account development plan for the Top 20 accounts for the hotel with target revenues and growth values.
Responsible for the accurate and timely response to all RFPs, submitting rates in-line with agreed pricing strategy from Hotel Revenue Manager, working closely for rate, package and GDS build
Produce an informative monthly sales report that outlines activity, successes, Top account development and any other relevant information.
To undertake special projects as the need arises around other sales, marketing, PR and revenue responsibilities, including providing active presence at all trade-shows and fairs
To ensure effective proactive sales activities through agreed KPI targets. Face to face appointments, presentations, exhibitions, tradeshow and show-rounds
