We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Ledger to join our Accounting & Finance team. The role involves managing customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and dealing with queries.

Description

  • Assist the Credit Controller to maintain an organised and up-to-date Sales Ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Set up new customers and support the Credit Controller with credit checks, agreeing terms and assigning credit limits.
  • Support the Credit Controller with preparation of the mid-month and month end sales invoices with full reconciliation to the Nominal Ledger.
  • Raise Proforma invoices and Statements.
  • Co-ordinate customer invoicing portals
  • Assist with credit control to ensure payment terms are adhered to.
  • Work with Fleet Services/Hire Help Desk to resolve customer invoice discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the Credit Controller to support the implementation of a new accounting platform and operational platform.

Profile

A successful Sales Ledger should have:
