We are seeking an accounts clerk for our client based on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells - on a temp to perm basis.

Hours: Monday to Friday
8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
Salary: from £25,000 per annum (DOE)

Our client is keen to expand their team and are offering a full time position on a temp to perm basis. If you have a passion for numbers or experience in purchase ledger, sales ledger and P&L, then we want to hear from you.

This is a varied accounting role that encompasses all of the above/below and more!

The Role:
Accurately enter supplier invoices into the accounting system.
Ensure invoices are matched to purchase orders and delivery notes where applicable.
Handle discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders or delivery notes.
Prepare payment runs, ensuring timely payment of supplier invoices.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any outstanding issues.
Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details.
Reconcile the purchase ledger to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
Assist with month-end closing activities and the preparation of monthly financial reports.
Maintain accurate and organised records of all transactions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.Experience and Qualifications:
ATT qualified (preferred but not essential)
Good knowledge of Excel
Excellent customer service skillsOur client deals with the distribution of raw meat, so applicants need to be mindful of this.

Due to the location, candidates will need access to their own vehicle.
