Sales Ledger Clerk (Temp to Perm)

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Sales Ledger Clerk at a very well-established business based in West-Kent. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a similar position looking for the next step in their career.

This position will be on a temporary basis initially with a full view of turning permanent.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

Ensuring the Sales Ledger reflects the true sales of the company

Raising invoices and credit notes

Ensuring that sales queries are resolved in an efficient manner

Ensuring that discrepancies are dealt with effectively

Ensuring invoices are despatched on time

Ensuring monies are collected in accordance with payment terms

Making management aware of any problems and debts

Recording notes of correspondence with customers on the ledger

Reconciling customer accounts

Producing Sales Ledger reports

The ideal candidate will:

Have proven experience in a similar position

Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Have a proactive can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in and take on any task

Have a Full UK driving licence
