We are looking for a dynamic, highly organised, ambitious and results-driven Sales Executive to work closely with our Sales & Marketing Manager on growing and supporting our customer base of schools in the UK and internationally. The Sales Executive will support the full sales pipeline, carrying out activities such as researching the market, planning and delivering lead generation campaigns and communications, nurturing leads, onboarding new customers, developing support content and materials, as well as Key Account Management.
The Sales Executive will be required to attend industry events and conferences, as well as meetings with schools throughout the year. They will also need to be able to attend staff meetings in London and Hampshire.
Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager. Salary: Circa £28k per year, full time. Fully remote, ideally London or South East based.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support with customer sales outreach to develop and grow sales of ISEB’s current and future products via telephone, email, and meetings.
Develop and maintain relationships with schools and other customers, listening to their feedback and understanding their needs to ensure the best possible service is being provided.
Support with the development and delivery of data-driven sales and marketing campaigns to drive sales of ISEB’s existing assessments and qualifications.
Support with the development and delivery of launch campaigns for new products that generate sales leads.
Work with our Sales & Marketing Manager to analyse the market, looking at the competitor and product landscape, to identify ISEB’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Work with our Sales & Marketing Manager to build customer personas and identify opportunities for cross-promotion and new product development.
Take ownership of our customer databases and make sure they are kept up to date.
Identify opportunities for ISEB to attend/exhibit at industry events and conferences, and work with our events manager to ensure that the right products and messages are always presented.
Attend industry events and conferences, and present/run workshops/webinars as required.
Work with the marketing team to develop on-brand marketing and sales literature, content and promotional materials that support sales and marketing objectives.
Support with the creation of school accounts, and with answering enquiries from schools.
Champion customer service and put the customer at the heart of everything ISEB does through working with our Qualifications & Delivery team to ensure best practices are in place and are being followed and ensure that there is a clear flow of information between customer service and marketing.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Proven experience in sales and/or account management, preferably within B2B environments, and ideally in the education sector.
Experience delivering successful sales and marketing campaigns and activities, both online and offline.
Ideally, an understanding of the independent education, assessment, and/or education technology sectors.
Strong communication, presentation, relationship building and negotiation skills.
A confident, friendly and professional telephone manner, and excellent written communication skills.
Strong analytical, organisational, time management, and creative thinking skills.
The willingness to work cross-departmentally and use multiple different skills to support a small business achieve ambitious goals.
A customer-centric approach that puts the customer at the heart of all of ISEB’s activities.
A motivated self-starter who is confident with approaching other colleagues and external contacts to gather information required to deliver sales and marketing activities.
The willingness to learn new systems and skills to get sales and marketing activities across the line.
Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing systems, and with data management and GDPR.
Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and/or Academy LMS a bonus.
