We have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Executive to join this renowned and leading supplier and installer of Log Burners, Wood Burning Stoves, Gas Fireplaces and Electric Fires based at their 4,000 Sq.ft flagship fireplace store in Silchester, Reading.About the companyOur client is a well-established, family run business located in Reading, Berkshire. They source the most beautiful fireplaces, stoves, fires and outdoor living appliances serving Berkshire, Oxfordshire, London and the surrounding areas and showcase an extensive showroom backed by a full in-house team of surveyors, designers and certified installers.About the roleAs a Sales Executive you will provide professional advice to customers in the showroom or via telephone/email, to enable them to purchase products that will be suitable for their property or project and your responsibilities will include:Demonstrating the products in the showroom using thorough knowledge of the appliances. This is ‘application sales’ so it is important to listen to the customer and match products and applications to their requirements and budgetCreating quotes on quoting software and follow-up with the customer to discuss the quote detailsArrange a pre-installation survey for the customer and book in to the online diaryLiaise with the customer, as and when required, during the process from initial sale to installationCheck deliveries in to company storeroom ensuring that they are undamagedSend off weekly planning application lettersAchieve monthly targetsAny other ad hoc duties as and when requiredAbout youAs a Sales Executive no previous sales or industry experience is required as full product and sales training will be given but you must be / have:Own transport due to infrequency of public transport – essentialExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail – quotes must be accurate and measurements correctGood telephone mannerSelf-motivated and conscientiousConfidence – not afraid to phone up customers if there is a problemTeam Player – help colleagues work towards monthly targetsAbility to learn new software ie Quotewerks , and to use Windows ie Outlook, Word, etcAbout the rewardsFor the role of Sales Executive, you will work five days a week including Saturday, with the Thursday off each week.
