Join our team and become part of a passionate group of individuals who genuinely care about the experiences we create for our guests and colleagues.Are you looking for your next hospitality and events sales role?We are recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our team at De Vere Wokefield Estate near Reading to proactively convert key event business of provisional conference, corporate and banqueting business through showrounds and proactive reach outs.As the Sales Executive you will co-ordinate all sales appointments and research within the Sales Office and your ultimate aim will be assisting the Sales Department in achieving their sales objectives and targets.You’ll work closely with the Sales Office, Sales office Manager and Director of Sales.Your skills and experience:You have experience working as part of an events sales or planning team in a hotel or venue where you regularly conducted sales appointments and show roundsYou have a confident approach and are able to forge strong working relationships and create genuine connections with clients and colleagues through your excellent communication skillsYou are experienced using IT software - familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be providedMost of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is consideredThe Pay & Benefits:At De Vere we pay attention to the thoughtful details that inspire the loyalty of our permanent colleagues.
