Position: Sales Executive



Location: Shrewsbury



Package: £25k-£38k + Bonus



Are you an experienced salesperson looking to further your career?



You have the opportunity to join a Metal Stockist at their depot in Shrewsbury.  This is a well-established business with a long track record in developing its employees. It boasts a low staff turnover and is a great option for a salesperson from any transactional sales background looking for their next step.



This business supplies materials to a variety of exciting industries including performance motorsports, aerospace, precision engineering and more.



NO INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. You will be given excellent product training and given all the tools needed to perform your role well.



All About You



Any metals experience is great, but is not essential. We are looking for good sales people fromm a b2b sales background, ideally accustomed to transactional sales. 
Job Skills & Qualifications




  • A confident, ambitious individual who enjoys a challenge and is target-driven.

  • Must be a team player.

  • Well-presented and articulate.

  • A good communicator, face-to-face, on the phone, and via email.

  • Has good IT skills and good attention to detail.

  • Product knowledge of the nonferrous metals industry would be an advantage, but not essential.



Job Responsibilities




  • Complete a small training program by learning about sales administration and essential sales functions on iMetal, a computer application.

  • Developing product knowledge to start selling to customers.

  • Helping other sales team members with securing orders.

  • Work together with the sales team to reach sales targets.

  • Develop good customer relationships via email, phone calls, and possible visits to customers' businesses.

  • This is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives.



Hours




  • 40 Hours per week, Permanent Position

  • Working Hours: 8.30 am-5.30 pm Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour unpaid break
