Technical Sales Engineer - Lean Manufacturing Solutions

Do you have good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles? Could you be successful in a Sales or Account Management position?

We are looking for someone to work with clients to help them achieve their lean manufacturing goals by improving their materials handling.

We welcome applications from confident communicators who understand lean manufacturing techniques such as Kaizen, 5S, process improvement and would enjoy a regional field sales / account management position.

Maybe you are an experienced salesperson or maybe a Cell Leader or similar and looking for a change.

My client delivers customized materials handling equipment to a variety of sectors, namely automotive, aerospace, and electronics assembly.

Sales experience is not essential, although this is a sales-based position.

Package:

• * Base Salary �35-40k
• * Uncapped earning potential
• * Car allowance of �500 pm
• * Additional Employee bonus up to �#####
• * Work from home

The Role: (working from home)

• Site visits to review customers current manufacturing environment
• Design the best materials-handling solutions to achieve their lean manufacturing goals
• Compile designs, quotes, estimates and follow up
• Manage own diary
• Joint visits to customers with field sales team

You

• Live in the region - M62 corridor, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Lancashire
• Confident communicator
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge and experience working within a lean environment
• Either sales engineer, sales manager experience or a cell leader or assembly supervisor or similar
• Driving licence
