Job Purpose:
The Sales Director, UK will provide vision and leadership to the Business Development Team with the aim of achieving increased profitable growth for the UK Region.
You will be detail-oriented, energetic, and highly driven to increase business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies and relationships. You will be a strategic thinker with a drive to achieve objectives and will have a proven track record in doing so.
Key Result Areas:
Develop potential key accounts to achieve target business plans
Work with and develop strong relationships with Key Accounts
Promote and sell Optimas' total value proposition
Build strategic good relationships with all related functions internally and externally for projects realization and acceleration
Develop existing & new customers to their full potential
Work closely with the Business Development, Sales, and Technical/Engineering Teams
Present sales/key customer report monthly
Create and realize business development plan and sales/market forecast
Analyze business performance of key accounts and formulate strategies and action plans to improve GP and profitability
Assure overall customer satisfaction
Work with internal departments to create proposals that will win new business while attaining profitability and EBITDA objectives
Successfully hand off the accounts to a Program Manager / Inside Sales
The application / demonstration of THREAD values throughout all layers of the organization
Other relevant tasks and duties, as required.
Additional Key Duties:
Act as a member of the UK SLT and contribute to the overall performance of the business.
Adhere, embrace, and promote the Optimas THREAD principles
Knowledge, Training, Experience and Skills required
Engineering, automotive or industrial sector experience is highly desirable
Strong customer interaction & presentation skills
