THE ROLE
Business Development Representative
(Enterprise Strategic Accounts – EMEA)
LOCATION: EMEA - Remote
(this is a remote role but candidate must be physically located in the United Kingdom)
What you'll be doing:
Source new logo sales opportunities on enterprise strategic accounts through outbound calls, emails, networking, and other means of outbounding activities
Follow up in collaboration with Marketing on inbound and Marketing driven leads, providing post-event support by following up on leads with calls and emails, and linkedin networking opportunities
Engage, educate and nurture early-stage buyers
Understand customer needs and requirements via qualifying using MEDDIC and BANT sales process
Ability to articulate and conceptualize the value proposition
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
Build and nurture a pipeline of qualified leads within a list of strategic enterprise accounts
Manage, track, and report all activities using CRM
Help maintain the integrity of CRM data through regular research, contacting customers/prospects, and updating information
Represent the company at industry trade shows periodically
Ability to work independently and remotely yet maintain communication and collaboration with global AE, BDR, and Marketing teams
What we're looking for:
5 - 3 years of experience in a BDR role at a company with a technology focused service (Database/Software a plus)
Basic knowledge of the data industry: databases, data warehouse, middleware, high performance computing, and data architecture
Track record of exceeding KPIs and quota
Highly self-motivated, goal oriented, someone who takes initiative and knows how to be a self-learner.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Salesforce, Zoominfo, Outreach, Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Web based research (Crunchbase, Tech forums, News etc.), MS Office Suite, GSuite, or other sales technology tools
Ability to quickly grasp and follow sales administration processes and rules of engagement within a Salesforce environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy, and typing speed; ability to present, connect, and prospect to executive level personas
Demonstrated proficiency in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and time management
BA/BS Degree
