The Role
We are actively seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our commercial team. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in sales leadership and marketing and a strategic mindset. The Sales Manager's role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by developing effective sales and marketing strategies and ensuring the achievement of sales targets is fully aligned with the organisation's overall objective.

The
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans for business development and sales that align with organisational objectives.
Provide strong leadership to the sales team, setting a positive and motivated work culture.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment within the commercial team.
Continuously evaluate and adjust business and sales strategies based on market trends and performance analysis.
Set realistic and measurable sales targets in collaboration with upper management.
Implement and manage tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
Utilise historical data, market analysis, and sales trends to forecast future sales accurately.
Collaborate with finance / commercial and other departments for budgeting and resource allocation.
Lead or support sales presentations to clients, showcasing the value proposition.
Engage in negotiations to close deals and meet customer needs.
Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Generate regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics for upper management.
Present findings and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making.
Ensure that all sales activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Address customer concerns and issues promptly.
Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement changes to enhance overall sales efficiency.
Stay flexible and adapt strategies to changes in the market, industry, or organisational priorities.
Details of the skills, experience and qualifications
5+ years of proven experience in sales management and achieving revenue targets.
Be able to work across all levels internally and externally.
Commercial awareness and ability to understand and articulate sales budgets, plans, and targets.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and follow processes with high accuracy.
High energy, fast-paced, and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
A didactic and patient team player.
