I am working with a client in the food & beverage sector, who are seeking a new Sales Business Development Manager

The successful candidate will need to be in the Northwest, and there will be travel required for this role (therefore you must have a full UK driving license)

They are seeking a Sales Business Development Manager to lead their sales initiatives and expand their market presence in the Northwest region. As the Sales BDM, you will play an essential role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to penetrate new markets, increase market share, and meet revenue objectives.

  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction.

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.

  • Proposal Development: Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.

  • Leading negotiations, closing deals, and finalizing contracts while ensuring favourable terms for the company.

  • Providing guidance, support, and motivation to the sales team

  • Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback

  • Utilizing CRM systems and other tools to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and generate reports for management review.
