Job Description
Do you love building strong commercial relationships with customers? Want to work for a company that are improving patient’s lives across the world? Our client is looking for a Sales Associate for their Orthopaedics portfolio to work across their East Anglia territory.
The company
Our client is a huge blue-chip organisation known across the medical, surgical, and orthopaedic world. They offer innovative products and services to improve patient and hospital outcomes. Their whole product portfolio helps patients lead more active and satisfying lives in over 100 countries around the world.
They can offer you a range of benefits, from healthcare, to wellness programmes, to top tier performance rewards. They’ve also recently been named one of the ‘World’s Best Workplaces’ – so now is a great time to join!
A bit about the role
You’ll play a part in improving patient care by selling our client’s range of orthopaedic products, with a focus on screws and fixation devices. Relationships are at the very heart of this role, and you’ll speak to a broad range of people every day, from surgeons to nursing staff, from procurement teams to finance professionals. Your day to day might look a little like this:
Conducting product demonstrations
Training clinical staff on how to use the products
Covering operating theatre cases
Maintaining existing accounts
Developing new sales opportunities
Your experience
Our client’s looking for someone who has a strong track record in a sales role, someone who can hit and exceed targets regularly. If you’ve got that in the medical device industry that’s a bonus, but it’s not a deal breaker if your sales experience isn’t medical.
They’re also looking for:
A degree in an aligned subject, like science or anatomy
Someone who’s great at building relationships and making connections
An ability to close deals!
A customer-orientation, someone focused on giving customers a great experience
Strong communication skills
A valid driving license and the ability to travel across the territory
