If you have had customer focussed experience, whether in paid or voluntary roles and have a friendly and positive outlook then we are looking for you to assist our Shop Manager and team of hardworking volunteers to make our shop be as successful as it can possibly be.Help to maintain high standards of visual merchandising throughout the shopAssist our customers throughout their visit, from entering the shop to completing their purchaseActively promote and explain the benefits of Gift Aid to customers and other various promotionsComplete all company paperwork, including cashing up and banking proceduresEncourage and assist in the training of volunteersAssist in the sorting and preparation of all donated stockTravel to other shops if part of a cluster from time to timeSupport the Shop Manager in all aspects of best practice and Health and Safety ProceduresBe responsible for the daily running of the shop and management of volunteers in the Managers absenceEnsure that personal behaviour reflects the visions and values of the companyIf you :Are resilient, supportive, caring, hands on and enthusiasticPossess a positive attitude in delivering exceptional customer serviceWant to make a positive changeTake pride in everything that you do in order to maintain the high standards that we promise to our colleagues, stakeholders and ourselvesAre adaptable; able to think on your feetHave a keen interest in the environment and sustainabilityHave an engaging personality, the desire to succeed and be the best you can beTHEN SALVATION ARMY TRADING COMPANY LTD WANTS YOU!Hours will be worked on a shift basis between Monday - SaturdayAll key responsibilities and desirable skills can be found on the Job Description when you apply.See what some of our colleagues say about us:'Working at SATCoL is an incredibly rewarding experience.
