Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting a Sales and Marketing Director for a luxury senior community in Rochester, NY.The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for achieving and exceeding occupancy/sales targets. The Sales and Marketing Director manages the staff and day to day sales and marketing activities.Essential Job Functions:Work together with Executive Director and VP Marketing/Development to develop an annual and 90 day rolling sales and marketing plan. Goals include generating new, qualified leads; maintaining timely communication with existing leads; acquiring new sales; and sustaining contract holders to move-in.Monitors sales, move-in, and occupancy goals.Accurately maintains the CRM database by collecting and entering information about new inquiries and creating prompt, creative and personal next steps after each interaction. Oversees staff usage of system and ensures periodic data and touch points are being entered into the system. Ensure that the database is maintained to effectively tract leads and sales.Reports all marketing data to VP Development/Marketing and Executive Director.Responsible for the hiring, training, and supervising of sales staff.Sets a positive example, motivates and counsels staff as needed, and conducts employee evaluations in a timely manner.Thoroughly understand and execute any requirements of the Escrow Agreement, Priority Agreement, Residency Agreement and Disclosure Statement. Full understanding of the community's offering Plan.Serves as an active member of the sales staff.Provides retirement counseling and gives presentations to interested groups and individuals.Provides assistance to sales staff as needed to “close” or retain sales.Greets clients pleasantly and professionally either on the telephone or in person, always presenting a positive image for the community.Monitors the market and the competition of other senior living communities.Works weekends and evenings as necessary.Calls upon clients in their homes as needed.Reviews and gives initial approval of all Priority Agreements and Residency Agreements or other correspondence that concerns contractual obligations (cancellations, construction changes, etc.).Assumes budget accountability.Performs other duties as assigned.Attends meetings as appropriate.Attends seminars/workshops/continuing education courses as appropriate to stay abreast of changes in the Senior Housing, Long-term Care fields, as well as to maintain a professional status.Provides sales and marketing support to other entities associated with Friendly Senior Living as neededQualifications:At least 3 years’ successful experience in a sales and marketing environment, preferably in senior housing and/or health care related environments.Demonstrated ability to identify leads, qualifies leads, and close sales.Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business administration or related field required. .Job Requirements:Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Must possess the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with internal and external customers including residents, family members, visitors, staff, government agencies, vendors and business associates, and the general public.Must be knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to non-profit organizations generally and senior living communities specifically.Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret Marketing Department programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures required for providing customer service consistent with mission and CQI vision.Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a willingness to interact positively with challenging residents, family members and visitors.Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and other department managers.Must be able to maintain positive rapport with the residents and their families.Must be willing to seek out new methods and incorporate them into existing practices.Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other the individuals in the workplace.Must attend and participate in continuing educational programs.Must have valid state of residence driver’s license.May be required to use personal vehicle from time to time for Community business.
