Sales Administrator

Role: Sales Administrator  

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm & Friday 9am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)

Salary: up to £28,000 per annum depending on your experience  

Benefits: 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (extra day for every 2 years’ service (max of 5 days), death in service 2x salary, free onsite parking and annual staff party.

As the Sales Administrator you will be providing support to customers across the globe via phone and email with anything from sales quotations, processing of orders, order management and deliveries. If you are customer focused, organised, and liked to be kept busy then this role is perfect for you.

Your duties:

• Process sales orders


• Raising sales invoices and credit notes


• Liaise with customers on shipment dates


• Create quotes and pro-forma invoices


• Manage the price list and ensure customer pricing is always correct


• Work with shipping companies to organise shipping


• Working with finance to set up new customer accounts and manage credit limits


• Manage purchase request approval process


• Raise purchase orders and send to suppliers


• Manage supplier queries, delivery dates, import administration


• Answer and redirect phone calls


• Receive visitors and manage the sign-in process


• General office support

About you:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Sales Administration position


• Confident computer user


• Excellent verbal and written English


• Ability to manage your own workload and work to deadlines
