Safeguarding Officer

Safeguarding Officer Needed in Portsmouth! Are you passionate about protecting the well-being of others? We're seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Officer to join our team in Portsmouth on an ongoing basis until the end of the academic year. As a Safeguarding Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and welfare of our students and staff. You'll work closely with students, families, and external agencies to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone in our community.️ Responsibilities:Implementing safeguarding policies and proceduresProviding guidance and support to staff and students on safeguarding issuesConducting risk assessments and managing safeguarding concernsLiaising with external agencies and stakeholdersDelivering training sessions on safeguarding best practices Requirements:Previous experience in a safeguarding role (preferably within an educational setting)Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamA commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusionContract PositionseXede Ltd is acting as an Employment Business and the successful applicant will be engaged by the agency on a PAYE basis.
