About Us: At Figtree Early Learning Centre, children benefit from a range of exciting programs and activities. Our programs are planned by our experienced and qualified early childhood educators and are developed around an emergent play-based curriculum. This curriculum is inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework which describes the principles, practices and outcomes that support and enhance young children's learning from birth to five years of age. Figtree is a purpose-built centre with a focus on supporting the needs of the community. Come and join our team. Key Responsibilities:Plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational programs for children aged 0-5 years.Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment for children.Observe and document children's progress, behaviour, and development.Collaborate with team members to design and adapt activities that promote holistic development.Establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects and celebrates diversity.Lead and mentor Educators in delivering inclusive learning programs while working alongside the Centre Manager and Educational Leader to strive towards an exceeding service.Qualifications and Experience:Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved) or working towards.Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in children's well-being and development.Attractive Compensation - We offer a competitive hourly rate plus not-for-profit salary package incentive.Enhanced Well-Being - Enjoy the benefit of 2 well-being days per year, allowing you to recharge and focus on your mental and physical health.
