Job Title: Room Leader
Job Type: Full Time - 40 hours per week
Salary:
£25,563 - £33,322 (
dependant on qualification/s and experience)

The nursery has been awarded an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ for their commitment to high quality childcare and education. What you’ll be doingLead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and educationEnsure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areasDeliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestonesDevelop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each childPromote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all timesWork with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basisWhat we can offer youOur benefits include, but are not limited to;Career development opportunities across our network of nurseriesAmazing discounts, ranging from 50% childcare to high-street, to utility and days out!Quarterly Employee Appreciation Weeks – with treats for all the teamExternal helpline with professional counsellors – supporting your wellbeing 24 hours a day.Access to our extensive library of training and qualifications, to support your continuous developmentWhat we’re looking forFull and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualificationPrevious experience working within an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar)Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation StageStrong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with childrenAbility to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parentsAbility to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adultsThis role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check
