What you’ll be doingLead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and educationEnsure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areasDeliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestonesDevelop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each childPromote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguardingWork with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environmentWhat we’re looking forFull and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similarSound understanding of the Early Years Foundation StageStrong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with childrenAbility to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parentsAbility to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adultsBright Horizons are committed to creating inclusive environments where everyone has a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to contribute and thrive in meaningful and impactful ways.
