About the Role
We currently have an exciting vacancy for the role of Room Leader/SENCO at Partington Day Nursery to support the ongoing success of the nursery. The role of the Room Leader/SENCO has responsibility for the day to day running of their room, providing support, guidance and coaching to their team. You will also ensure high standards of care, education, health and safety are maintained. You will be the lead SENCO for the setting liaising with a range of professionals and parents to meet the needs of each child. We are looking for someone who can drive the quality of care and outcomes for the children in the nursery.

About You
You will have experience of working in an early years setting with experience of planning for individual children and reviewing them on a regular basis. You must hold a minimum level 3 relevant early years qualification. You will have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and be able to put the principles into practice across the early years. You will have knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice that is applied in your work with children and families. You will be able to form positive relationships with children and families. You will be committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that the needs of children and families are met in an ever-evolving high quality setting. You will be a team player who values and respects the contributions of others. You will be a good communicator and passionate about working with children.
Additional Information
An enhanced DBS check with children/adults barred list check will be required.
The working hours are 36.25 hours per week over 5 days between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
